ΓΦΒ (Gamma Phi Beta) is an international sorority that was founded in November 1874 at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. It's national headquarters is placed at Centennial, Colorado. It presently has 130,000 members, 114 collegial chapters & 156 alumnae groups.
History
Looking for to form the society which would encourage women to search their fully expected besides as a society which would produce everlasting friendly relationship quaternity women, Helen M. Dodge, Frances E. Haven, E. Adeline Curtis & Mary The. Bingham formed Gamma Phi Beta at Syracuse within 1874. Gamma Phi Beta holds a distinction of coining a word sorority.

To foster a caring environment that will bring women the chance to achieve their possible across womb-to-tomb commitment to rational incubation, single worth & service to humanity.
Vision of Gamma Phi Beta
To become the premier women’s organization by having a winning spirit across: looking ethnic, demographic & economic diversity, the development of chapter, community & interfraternal leaders, providing programming which addresses issues relevant to women & society, the strengthening of resources, a center existence member-caused, & management of the organization across volunteerism.
